A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to start each editing & graphic design service. For marketing assistant services, payment is due in full.


Deposit is only refundable if Represent Publishing cannot begin your service at the agreed on start date. If the client needs to cancel the service, the 25% deposit will not be refunded. Services may be rescheduled up to two times in a year. Reschedule will be based on Represent’s availability.

If a rush service is requested, Represent Publishing may charge twice or triple the service amount to accommodate.

As a virtual team, we operate on different hours each day and in different time zones. We are almost always off on Saturdays and Sundays.

We try our best to respond to emails within 24-48 hours. Please check your spam folder if it has been longer than that. Some of our emails have ended up there in the past. If you still haven’t heard back, please email us again. We promise we aren’t ignoring you!

Help! I can’t afford a service. Do you have payment plans?

Yes! One of Represent's goals is to make sure everyone who is interested in a service can afford a service. Our main goal is to help you fulfill your dreams!

Payment plans are available for every service! However, deposits must be made. After that, the client can talk with Represent Publishing to come up with a payment plan that best suits everyone.

If you need a payment plan after the service has begun, you must email ASAP to avoid late fees.

Late Fees

Unless discussed prior, every invoice must be paid on the end date of service. If your payment is late, you’ll receive three invoice reminders before a 1.5% charge is added to your invoice every seven days past the due date.

Every client will receive clear communication on the start and end date of each project.

Payment Methods

We take payments through Wave, PayPal, and Venmo. ACH (bank payments) are preferred, but we accept all credit cards except American Express. All prices are in USD.

All packages or services can be customized. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Email or fill out our contact form. Let us know what you’re interested in and we will create the ideal package for you.

If for any reason we don’t offer a service, we will recommend you elsewhere.


All purchases with Represent Publishing are one-time fees. After the book is published, the author holds full rights to the book and all royalties that come in.

This is subject to change with Represent Publishing vendor events. The author will always be notified if Represent would like to sell their book at a vendor event. The author must give consent and sign a contract. Represent will be subject to 50% of royalties, after print cost of the book. The author will receive the other 50%.

Should I credit Represent Publishing?

Yes, please. If you are getting a self-publishing package, Represent will already have the logo on your book and will be inside the copyright page.

However, if you get another package, please credit accordingly.

Industry standard for editing is 95% accuracy. If you find that your manuscript does not align with this, please contact Represent Publishing immediately. It is common for some errors to happen, and sometimes when track changes are used, it introduces new errors while fixing the original errors. We always recommend a final proofread to ensure the quality and accuracy.

We are not responsible for the success of a novel. At Represent Publishing, we can suggest changes, edits, and revisions; however, it is up to the author to implement those revisions and developments.
